In the time since we've gotten our hands on it we've taken it along on local trips to the coast and around our corner of the Puget Sound area – take a look at our updated sample gallery for

The f2.8 is terrific, amazing, and heavy. Then I (added) purchased the Z24-200 for weight, length, and travel. The Z24-200 is probably the best super zoom on the market. It is almost (so close) to the image quality of the Z24-70 f4 in the 24-70 range that in my opinion a better choice.
Earlier this morning, Nikon released an updated Z Series lens roadmap, highlighting its newly-released 17-28mm F2.8 lens and hinting at the release of a few new optics, including two large-aperture primes, a power zoom and a telephoto zoom that will round out the company’s affordable F2.8 zoom range.
This new Z-mount lens is a million miles from the giant 24-70mm f/2.8 F-mount lenses for Nikon’s DSLR cameras. The Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S has the same zoom range as these monsters, but is much smaller and lighter. Update: We've just posted our Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S review. This is the 'pro' version of Nikon's standard zoom for its Z-mount
I happen to have a Z6 and the 24-70mm/f2.8 S myself. I just captured this image outdoors at 24mm, f2.8. I am in California and it was about 3:30pm. I merely scaled the image down to 1000 pixels across, with no other post processing. 24-70mm/f2.8 S @ 24mm, wide open f2.8. View: original size. shuncheung's gear list:
The Z 70-180mm f/2.8 is an ultralight and inexpensive fast tele zoom for Nikon's Z system. It's ideal for people, portraits and sports and action in dim light. It lacks VR, but VR doesn't help you when shooting moving things. It works with the TC 1.4× and 2× teleconverters:

Capture so much more of a scene, with clarity and sharpness throughout the entire frame. 24mm is well-regarded as an exceptional focal length for establishing expansive views, with or without subjects, and the NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S’s ability to produce edge to edge sharpness, even at its widest aperture, make it invaluable for wide-angle applications, even in low light.
Autofocus. To start, autofocus on the 24-70mm f/4 S lens is nearly silent, largely thanks to the AF-P motor. The lens also autofocuses very quickly and accurately overall. When testing lenses for sharpness at Photography Life, we rarely ever use autofocus to lock on target because its accuracy can vary at the pixel level, even in live view.
For this test, we used the brand new Nikon D850 and we outfitted it with 24-70mm 2.8 lenses by Nikon, Sigma, and Tamron. In the past, third party lenses weren't even close in build quality or image

And the 24-120 + 85 is cheaper the the 24-70 f/2.8. If I am right then the 14-30 f/4 as a second lens is also a good choice. A other choice is the 24-120 or the 24-200. For kits is the 24-120 slightly better, but for travel the 24-200. The 24-120 is a S lens and better weather resistant than the 24-200.
The 70-180mm f/2.8 is a relatively small, but extremely sparse, lens. On top of that, the lens lacks vibration reduction, making it the longest Nikon Z lens so far to be missing this feature. This is a big limitation when using the Z 70-180mm f/2.8 on any of Nikon’s cameras without in-body image stabilization (IBIS), which means that Z30/Z50
